What better way to play with Fall trends than by making outfits based on looks straight off the runway. For this piece I’ll be using looks from Alice + Olivia‘s Fall collection. What I love about the collection is how young and fresh it is. The collection also is bursting with color and different patterns. Below are my takes on these looks.

Dress, Shoes, Sunglasses, Blazer
One of my previous posts was about stripes, but not like this. This outfit plays with different sizes and directions of stripes. By doing this you take a very simple pattern and make it interesting. This outfit may not be appropriate for every office, so for the more conservative workplaces I suggest switching out the striped dress for a solid dress. I think the blazer is a key piece and the mary-jane pumps are essential for the fall.

Blazer, Pants, Flats, Top
This outfit boldly mixes colors and plays with prints to create a fall look that has a hint of spring in it. If colors or prints aren’t your thing, I encourage you to gradually ease your way into wearing them. It can be fun and can make an outfit go from boring to amazing.

Dress, Shoes, Coat
This look does sleek and refined without using any black. The base colors are tan and gold which are very fresh and young colors. This outfit is a great base for some great accessories like a colorful statement necklace. Pull your hair back into a messy bun and you’re good to go for work.
